“... the best way to describe my experiences in the presence of Susan’s drawings was by employing the physicist Hugh Everett III’s many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics. In this often cited sci-fi Bizarro reality, the possibilities implied by the wave function are never resolved, never collapse into a single event. … and it allows me to comprehend and account for Susan’s indexable ability to render endless permutations of a summoned character as though she is transcribing these potential realities and has the ability (often credited to mystics and Buddhists) to perceive and visualize the entire path cycle of an object from birth to death … to rebirth.”
